This burrata caprese salad looks restaurant-worthy but is incredibly easy to make at home with just a handful of peak-season summer ingredients. Creamy burrata, ripe tomatoes, and a vibrant basil vinaigrette come together to make the ultimate summer salad.

Ingredients

  • Balsamic and Fresh Basil Vinaigrette
  • 4 heirloom tomatoes
  • 1 cup multicolor grape tomatoes
  • 1 (8-ounce) container burrata
  • Aged balsamic vinegar or bottled sweet balsamic glaze (optional)
  • Fresh basil for garnish
  • Toasted baguette slices (optional)

Instructions

  • Make the fresh basil vinaigrette.
  • Slice the heirloom tomatoes and arrange them on a platter. Halve the grape tomatoes and sprinkle on top.
  • Arrange both burrata balls on top of the tomatoes. Drizzle with the vinaigrette and aged balsamic (if desired). Garnish with fresh basil. Serve with toasted baguette slices, if desired.
