Burrata Caprese Salad with Fresh Basil Vinaigrette
This burrata caprese salad looks restaurant-worthy but is incredibly easy to make at home with just a handful of peak-season summer ingredients. Creamy burrata, ripe tomatoes, and a vibrant basil vinaigrette come together to make the ultimate summer salad.
Aged balsamic vinegar or bottled sweet balsamic glaze (optional)
Fresh basil for garnish
Toasted baguette slices (optional)
Instructions
Make the fresh basil vinaigrette.
Slice the heirloom tomatoes and arrange them on a platter. Halve the grape tomatoes and sprinkle on top.
Arrange both burrata balls on top of the tomatoes. Drizzle with the vinaigrette and aged balsamic (if desired). Garnish with fresh basil. Serve with toasted baguette slices, if desired.
